Manjola Lloja has studied sociology, but her more than 25 years of work experience has been focused on communication. In a triangle between the media, civil society, and business, her work involves observing and promoting good ideas, individuals, and practices.
In addition to her work as a communication expert in the fields of local government, gender equality, and startups, Manjola is also the co-founder of "NjiMar, NjiMrapsht," the first private initiative to create a space for exposure and interaction between independent Albanian artisans and artists, as well as the coordinator of the International Children's Song Festival, a unique experience in Albania.
Her experience with the "For the Benefit of Albanian Women" association began in April 2004, a period when she started working with the Women's Clu
Among her engagements with this association, until February 2009, Manjola highlighted the diversity of topics addressed, always seeking new forms of communication in support of women and girls. From "green sheets" to peer-to-peer education, campaigns during the 16 days against violence against women and on March 8th, the association experienced a truly motivating experience during that period, not only for the many beneficiaries of the services it offered but also for the staff who felt part of this influential movement in Albanian reality.
Advice from ManjolaShe believes that much more is learned by trying and that every experience (especially unsuccessful ones) has something to show, so she considers herself a permanent "learning by doing" person. Believing in this, she modestly advises every girl or woman to look forward with an open mind and energy that turn into learning from every experience, allowing herself to make new mistakes and trying to find the good in it and share it.
