Association "Useful to Albanian Woman" ,founded in march 1993, aims to play an important role in protecting human rights and equal opportunities by providing services to women, youth, children, and communities in need, as well as improving economic and social policies. UAW aspires to and advocates for policies of equality and social progress. Useful for a better-developed society UAW maintains links with public institutions, peer organizations, national and international institutions and organizations, as well as individuals who contribute to UAW's activities, always maintaining UAW's independence, developing a broad range of activities in various fields of activity that are consistent with its purpose. We aim to strengthen women's economic status through supportive programs in the field of economics and business, involve young people in professional programs, create social businesses through social enterprises that aim to improve the living conditions of women, youth, and the entire needy population. The efforts and contributions of UAW for women's inclusion in decision-making bodies through lobbying and networking policies, not only with NGOs but also with central and local governments. We help women to strengthen their economic status, to raise healthy children, and to help women reach decision-making positions. We educate women to educate a healthy generation. We are pioneers in professional development where we have supported around 7000 young people and changed their socio-economic status. We have trained young people in the field of human rights and anti-discrimination, we have prepared young people to be leaders in gender equality and women's rights. We have educated young people to move towards strengthening their social status and to create business companies and networks through which they can also help other young people.
