Golden Past

We are on the threshold of the 30th anniversary of the association, as well as the early developments of the Women's Academy (WA), a major program of the Albanian Women's Rights Group (AWRG), which started as a draft idea in 2014 and has now taken full legal form for implementation and development in the years to come.
The WA of AWRG consists of its excellent 30-year experiences, its strong capacities, which have made it successful not only because the programs were needed and changed people's lives, but also because the specialists who developed these programs were true professionals and civilians.
WA will evoke this experience and transfer all its capacities to the new generations of civilians, contributing effectively to many needs and problems that Albanian society faces today, as well as to building a true civil sector, away from political compromises, comfortable indifference, and public confrontations.
The association has had many contributors and volunteers, but in this space, a part of them have been selected as worthy representatives of the history of: Women Make History Every Day!
Valued as outstanding contributors to the association for various projects or causes, their figures will be part of the Golden Ladies who have made history in the association.
Through "Golden Ladies," we will transmit to today's and future generations the excellent successes and experiences that rose from them, through passion and professionalism, love and trust, which can change human lives and the future of a civil and prosperous society through work and assistance.
