The "Albanian Women's Benefit Association" (AWBA) was founded in March 1993 as a humanitarian, non-political, non-denominational, non-profit organization to fight for the protection of women's, children's, youth's, and communities' rights. AWBA believes in the principles of support and advocates for human rights, gender equality, and social progress. It aims to have an important role in civic decision-making processes and works for the implementation of these principles.
