The "Albanian Women's Benefit Association" (AWBA) was founded in March 1993 as a humanitarian, non-political, non-denominational, non-profit organization to fight for the protection of women's, children's, youth's, and communities' rights. AWBA believes in the principles of support and advocates for human rights, gender equality, and social progress. It aims to have an important role in civic decision-making processes and works for the implementation of these principles.

Tailer at “Artistikes Migjeni” with several years of experience. Tailor at "ArtistikeMigjeni" with several years of experience, this has turned into an opportunity for collaboration with Ms. Sevim Arbana in the initial steps of creating the association.
One of the valued projects within and outside the country is also the project of the handmade embroidery shop, which was successful as it employed several ladies who were doing handcrafted works and selling them.
The program directed by Mrs. Pellumbi, one of the first projects of the association, in addition to the employment of women and girls, which was an emergency of the time and corresponded to the association's slogan in its 10th anniversary: Help yourself with your work!, also had another objective: the promotion and launch of Albanian artistic culture through handcrafted works and the protection of this tradition.
The "Golden Hands" shop was established in Avni Rustemi square, near the STEFAN Center, and had a great echo and impact among donors and not only.
